Well, I have gotten a part-time job. I will be working 2 days a week for a sign company being the office manager. I am very excited, but also very apprehensive about leaving Riley for 2 days a week. I just miss him so much the little I leave him now. It will be an adjustment for us all.
I do realize it will be good for us both - he needs to exercise his independence, and so do I. It is hard to realize that he will grow up one day and have his own life, so I probably don't need to have every ounce of my life invested in him...but it is hard to resist doing that!!!
So, say a prayer for all of us! I will keep you posted on how things are going!

ReplyDeleteThink of the beautiful conversations you will soon have with him as he tells you how his day went and listens to you while you tell him about your day. I think that in the long run you will both benefit from this.
You will still have every ounce of your life invested in him, even from work, trust me !
