Rain, Rain, Rain!!! Will it ever stop? Our front yard is beginning to look like a lake, and I think we may have to sandbag our garage door! I will be glad when it stops.

But, remember the drought? I guess we are getting an answer to all those prayers for rain, huh? God is so good! I am so thankful the drought is over - maybe I won't have to chase the hose all summer this year (not to mention our water bill). It is so nice to have a change of pace anyway.

God is so good about change - He knows that we need change. I am so thankful everytime the seasons change - summer makes me long for fall and winter, and days like today make me long for spring and summer! How does God know us so well? I guess because He made us, huh?

Well, this summer will be fun for us - Riley will be big enough to enjoy it. He starts his Infant Swim (http://www.infantswim.com/) lessons February 2nd, and I am very excited. If you have a pool or a lake/river place (or friends and family with one), you really need to check out this life saving program.

I remind myself, the rain turns the grass green and makes my beautiful flowers grow. I am thankful for the beautiful rain, Lord. Just remember the promise of your rainbow! I am thankful for this ever changing earth God has created - He knew we would need change to keep us interested - You are so good, God!
