Have you ever felt like you just could not get ahead in life? Just when things seem to start going well - WHAM! You get a report of a loved one with an illness, or something terrible at work happens, or you are just slammed with a depression for no reason at all.
That, to me, is the devil. He is attacking us because he knows God has a plan for our lives. He will do anything - I mean ANYTHING - to distract you from that plan. He can even use "too much of a good thing." He wants to keep us away from God's plan, because he does not want to see us receive the blessings of God.
I just want to remind everyone that, when the devil attacks you, think about what a great plan God must have for your future. If God didn't have something wonderful in store for you, the devil would just leave you alone. No need to harass anyone with a dismal future. He must see the marvelous things God wants to do for you and through you if he is bothering to distract you.
